How to get Android 10

- Go to System > Advanced > System update
If there is an Android 10 update available for your specific phone, it will appear and the installation will take a few minutes. If the update is not yet available, you will have to wait longer. Depending on your phone and manufacturer, it may take a few weeks or months to receive the update if it arrives at all. New Features of Android 10 That can Transfer Your Handset
Privacy Settings
There is a privacy settings menu. Here you’ll find notification controls on the lock screen, an autocomplete manager for forms, and many other privacy features.
Android NDK
Android NDK in Android 10 tightens restrictions on using shared objects when transferring text. Applications that use shared objects that contain text transfer are at risk of crashing. As a result, application code needs to be loaded, which improves both application security and loading time.
Live Caption
To make content more accessible to the hearing impaired, Android 10 includes a new feature called live captions. This feature allows you to create subtitles for all types of content, including video, podcasts, news, and audio. In addition, Live Caption works even when you’re not connected to the internet, so you’ll always have access to your content.
Bubbles
This is Google’s solution for better multitasking on the phone. It reminds us of Facebook Messenger chat heads, but Android 10 will run across the system. In a blog post for Android developers, Google provided instructions for developers to implement this feature in their applications.
Bubbles work like this: When a notification is received from an app that uses bubbles, a small circular notification appears on your screen that you can tap. For example, a messaging app will ask you to tap the bubbles notification to optionally view a conversation string or reply without having to launch the entire app. Google suggested that developers also use bubbles for notes, arrival times, and calls.
Location Permissions
Location Permissions in Android 10 lets you set permissions so an app can only track your location when it’s being used. To find out which of your apps are allowed to track and change your location, follow these steps:
- Open Settings
- Open Apps and notifications > Permission manager > Location
- You’ll get a list of all the apps that have permission to track your phone’s location. Tap on each and change its permission to “Allow all the time”, “Allow only while using the app”, or “Deny”.
Focus Mode
Focus Mode in Android 10 comes with tools that help you disconnect. The largest of these is the focus mode. How to turn it on:
1. You need the Digital Wellbeing app to activate the new focus mode. Go to Settings> Digital Wellbeing and Parental Controls> How to Unpaired.
2. You’ll see three options – tap each to adjust: Dashboard (set timers for specific apps). Comfort (use Night Light to dim the screen and activate the Do Not Disturb feature). Focus Mode (Close apps like Facebook or Instagram so you can literally focus on them and not get distracted).
Enhanced Security
Security is one of Google’s main concerns, and as a result, new features have been introduced to make Android 10 a more secure operating system. Overall, Google has added 50 features to improve the security of Android 10 and protect the privacy of users.
The new operating system gives users more control over how applications access geolocation data, allowing users to decide when applications can access data.
Dark Mode
Android 10 users can enable dark mode to hide everything from notifications to settings. However, unlike the previous dark theme built into the stock Android experience, this also applies to all apps that support it dark mode google.
Here’s how to turn it on:
- Go to Settings > Display
- Toggle on “Dark theme”.
You can also access the dark mode switch there by looking at the quick settings menu (swipe from top to bottom). You may need to click the pencil icon in the lower-left corner of the Quick Settings drop-down menu to find the new settings.
System UI Tuner Android 10
A few years ago, Android introduced what was called the System UI Tuner. This is the customization menu that comes with the Android device settings. You can use this tuner to adjust the status bar and navigation bar of the device’s interface and to view the application on full screen.
